The incumbent? Voters got a lot of mail from ELM, a PAC funded by Avangrid...

LISTEN TO WXTK INTERVIEW

John Crow's answer to Issue #1 Part A is "YES" and Part B is "YES."

He does KNOT see the Cape as an "energy exporter" with industrialized recreation and residential areas. His position has KNOT wavered since he first heard the buzz about Avangrid trying to land in Barnstable: it's inappropriate.

Debate update

The campaign sent this to the incumbent Councilor after efforts to set up a debate.

John wanted to share it with the community. Of course, he's continuing Tuesday "office hours" at the library, neighborhood events, and knocking on every door to hear from and talk with people in Precinct 5.  Please continue to reach out with questions and views.

Paul:

John has asked you for a traditional, standard-style debate on the issues, used from Presidential debates on down across the country, with room for both candidates to provide input to the moderator on the key issues facing the precinct, as well as questions submitted by the audience to the moderator, quite in line with the last debate here in this precinct.

John supported a weekend timeframe to enable voter attendance.  At the time of our initial meeting several weeks ago, you stated several times that you would meet at any time and in any format. You have since equivocated and delayed. As our email chain shows, it has now been days since I asked you for a very simple response in order to move forward. You have not responded.

It is clear you are more interested in manufacturing a story or controversy than a candidate event.  Enough is enough.  The voters will decide on November 7.
